John Griffiths
Managing Director

Professional career
John's accounting career started at the tender age of 16 working for a local automotive manufacturing company as a Purchase Ledger Clerk. He was quickly promoted within the company and secured an Assistant Management Accountant position and was AAT qualified by the age of 21. Since then he has continued to experience accounting in different industries including group accounting while working for a large building and construction company in Edlington, and then Assistant Company Accountant for a large railway company in Doncaster. His next stop was a Finance Manager for a leading software company in the building and construction industry and most recently Company Accountant for a printing and design company.

Michelle Griffiths

Professional career
Michelle has worked in accountancy for the last 14 years, starting off as a Modern Apprentice for a builders merchants. After the successful completion of her apprenticeship, Michelle was given a full contract of employment and study support for CIMA and supported the work of the Financial Director and his accounts team. She was then exposed to teaching accounting for a small training provider based in Barnsley where she not only delivered AAT and CIMA, but worked as a business/accounting consultant for individuals and businesses. Returning to industry, she then became the Finance Manager for an IT company, working closely with their head office in Finland to streamline the accountancy processes. Now back in education, Michelle continues to teach accountancy qualifications whilst still working as a consultant for educational establishments and local businesses.
